Atmospheric Dynamics (EN5210; Autumn 2021)
  • Course DescriptionThis couse is to introduce basic equations governing atmospheric motions and their elementary applications: circulation and vorticity, basic dynamics of midlatitude disturbances, Quasi-geostrophic balance. The goals of this course are to provide a foundation for understanding weather systems and to develop problem solving ability. It will be evaluated based on weekly homeworks and comprehensive final exam.
