Mixed-signal ICs are the interface between analog and digital domain. Due to the effort of cost reduction and evolutionof CMOS technology, analog ICs have to reside with digital ICs on a single chip and resulting in many design challenges.We will study those challenges and develop key analog and mixed-signal ICs for various applications (wireline/wireless communications, video/audio systems, and sensor, etc)
혼성모드 집적회로는 아날로그 domain과 디지털 domain을 연결해주는 회로로써 많은 전자 시스템에 필요한 회로이다. 최근의 비용 절감 노력과 CMOS technology의 비약적인 발전에 기인하여, 다양한 아날로그 회로와 디지털 회로가 단일 칩 (system on a chip)상에서 개발되고 있고, 이로 인하여 많은 문제점들이 발생하고 있다. 아날로그 및 혼성모드 집적회로 연구실은 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기위한 연구를 수행하고, 유/무선 통신, 오디오/비디오 시스템, 센서 시스템 등에 쓰일 수 있는 다양한 아날로그 및 혼성모드신호 집적회로를 개발한다.
